Centre Township
Where: 2971 Cold Storage Centre Municipal Bldg.

Only recyclables dropped off during collection hours in clear  Perry County recycling bags will be accepted. Bags are available for $2.75 each, and are sold at the recycling drop-off sites during collection hours. Bags are also available at the Oliver Township building during normal business hours and at the New Bloomfield Market.

Just place the Inside the Bag materials in the bag, all items listed can be placed in one bag. No sorting required! Outside the Bag materials are kept separated as noted below.

Inside the Bag:

  • Aluminum Cans Rinsed
  • Bi- Metal (tin) Cans Rinsed   
  • Office Grade Paper Sheets or shredded
  • All #1 and #2 Plastic Jugs, Bottles and containers Rinsed with caps and lids removed.
  • Books
  • Magazines

Outside the Bag:

  • Newspapers Tied in bundles or in a paper bag. No plastic bags!
  • Cardboard Flattened cardboard, cereal and shipping boxes. No packing material.
  • New! Beginning January 1, 2011: All colors of glass food and beverage containers will be accepted for a minimum  fee of $2.00 (no businesses). Glass should be transported in a cardboard box or reusable container.

All Perry County Recycling Centers are manned by volunteers. Please help make their job easier by having your recyclables ready when you arrive at the site. Thank you for your cooperation!
