No-Till Drill Rental Program

No-Till Drill Rental Program

The purpose of the No-Till Drill Program is to promote the use of a no-till crop production system, including cover crops, provide affordable, well-maintained equipment for rent, and to provide exceptional service and technical support to farmers wanting to use the equipment and convert to no-till farming in Perry County. The program has been a great success since its initiation in 2005, and in recent years, has averaged about two thousand acres of no-till planting each year. The program currently offers one John Deere 1590 Drill, one John Deere 1590 Pro-Series Drill, one Land Pride 606NT Drill, and one Esch 5612 Drill. The drills are for use only in Perry County and we do not currently offer services outside of the county.

A rental rate of $10/acre will be applied for any seed type planted

A drop fee of $25 will be applied to renters that plant 5 acres or less
